I HAVE UNQUENCHABLE JOY*

By Don Gossett

Read this card aloud each Monday morning.

FIRST:  Jesus is the Joy of living. His presence produces fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).  His joy is greater than any human pleasure or happiness.

SECOND:  His joy is my strength (Nehemiah 8:10).  Lack of strength indicates a real lack of joy.  His joy creates spiritual, physical and mental strength.

THIRD:  It is this unspeakable joy (1 Peter 1:8), that makes me triumphant over the petty trials of life and a victor in every testing that comes.

FOURTH:  "Your joy no man taketh from you," said Jesus (John 16:22).  I have unquenchable joy that makes trouble lose its grip on me.

FIFTH:  Fellowship with the Father and with the Son, and with one another is the true secret of abiding joy (1 John 1:3‑4, 2 John 12, 2 Timothy l:4).  Joy is lost because of broken fellowship, but can be restored (1 John 1:9, Psalm 51:10‑13).

SIXTH:  The "Joy of Jesus" is the most attractive thing in the world (John 15:11).  My number one business as a Christian is to be His joyful witness (Acts. 1:8, 8:8, 13:52).

SEVENTH:  The Word is my great joy‑producer (Jeremiah 15:16).  My positive, joyful confession of the Word generates health, victory and miracles!

EIGHTH:  Praying in the Name of Jesus gives birth to mighty answers . . . and FULL JOY (John 16:23‑24).  I make my prayer requests with joy (Philippians 1:4) because I am confident of "great and mighty things" (Jeremiah 33:3).

NINTH:  My message: "Glad tidings of great joy to all people" Luke 2:10.  My motive: "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy" Acts 20:24.
